Lynne lives in Penarth but practices from the Guiding Light Centre in Barry, here she offers Crystal Therapy, E.F.T. Emotrance and Seichem TeraMai Reiki.

Lynne has always had an interest in Health and well being and our own spiritual journey, she has previously worked as a Pathology Laboratory Technician in hospitals and as a Medical Representative, she has run her business for the last few years.

Lynne is a trained Crystal Therapist and completed a diploma and advanced crystal diploma, her training is ongoing and she is currently on a post graduate Crystal Course. She has also trained in E.F.T. and Emotrance to advanced practitioner level. She has completed Seichem TeraMai to practitioner level 2.

Therapies are given in the relaxing atmosphere of The Studio at the Guiding light Centre, treatments usually last 1-1/2 hours.

All the therapies offered work on the bodies energy systems, we now understand that any blockages or disruption in any of the bodies numerous energy system will affect how we feel, not only health but our energy levels and capacity to live and enjoy live to the full, with a feeling of balance, health and well being and enthusiasm for life.

We have many energy systems, a treatment will involve working with the Chakras, the Aura which is the biomagnetic energy shield surrounding our body, the Meridian lines (used by acupuncturists) but without needles! and subtle bodies; all of these systems are interlinked to various organs and functions in the body, as well as our emotions. We really are a very complex Energy system.

What is Crystal Therapy

Crystals have been used for healing since ancient times by many different cultures and recently there has been a renewed interest in this form of healing . Crystals are highly powerful and effective tools for healing as they contain a number of special properties and interact with us in many different ways. One of these properties is the unique vibration of each crystal. This is a result of its colour frequency, chemical composition, inner atomic structure and outer form.

Because of their unique fixed orderly crystalline structure they are able to absorb, reflect, transform, transmute, balance, direct, amplify, clear, focus etc. energies. Essentially, a crystal can adapt healing energy in any way imaginable. Since crystals and minerals make up most of the earth's crust and also reside within the human body, it can be said that, in a sense, we are all part of and living on a crystal. Crystals are piezoelectric , which is the ability to produce electricity and sometimes light, these properties can be seen in quartz watches etc, ultrasound machines etc.

What to expect in a Crystal Healing Session

You may be asked to remove your watch, jewellery and shoes and lay on the couch, Lynne will then get you to relax with a few simple breathing exercises and listen to relaxing healing music.. Crystals and Coloured silks may be placed on and around the body, beautiful heavenly smelling Quintessences and Sounds from Tuning Forks, Tibetan Bowls etc will also be used around you.

You may experience some feelings such as tingling, heat even a slight tugging pulling sensation as Lynne works with the energy in you Chakras, Subtle bodies, Aura and Meridianslines or you may feel nothing at all. Changes can be a subtle level and it usually takes up 24 hours for the benefit to be felt (it can take longer). You will be asked to drink plenty of water and rest, following the treatment. The session usually last 1-1/2 hours, it is a very pleasant, relaxing and enjoyable experience.
